For three days this Autumn, Les Foufounes Electriques, Montreal's most storied Alternative venue, will pulse with the intensity of Industrial Gothic vibes, a resonance emanating from across the global underground. Stylistically including, but not limited to, modern and traditional variations of Industrial, EBM, Goth, Post-Punk, DarkWave, IDM, and Ambient music, AMP INDUSTRIAL FESTIVAL brings together a collection of international and local talent — Live acts, DJs, Visual Artists, merchants, and more — to create an immersive and visceral atmosphere of sights, sounds, and culture.

PHILIPP STROBEL

Philipp Strobel is an event promoter, DJ and founder of Berlin based record label aufnahme + wiedergabe.

Since the labels inception in 2011, he has curated almost 200 physical and digital releases ranging from Post Punk and Dark Wave through Industrial Techno, establishing aufnahme + wiedergabe as one of the most successful and pioneering record labels of Europes underground scene.

In addition to his work as label head, Philipp regularly promotes local shows and club nights in Berlin, and frequently tours as a DJ, under the name Philipp Strobel, his strength as label head and long time curator remaining evident in his eclectic, unique and ever changing sets.

DJ JanaDark is the DJ alias of multidisciplinary artist and musician Jana Komaritsa, a creative force whose work spans visual arts, music, DJing, event production, videography, and performance. With deep roots in the global alternative art and music scene, she has spent years both participating in and organizing events across the world — from Germany, Netherlands, Spain and France to the USA, Argentina, and beyond. Her resume includes over 200 performances, ranging from experimental underground shows to renowned international festivals such as Maschinenfest, Elektroanschlag, Wave-Gotik-Treffen, Audiophob Festival, Tower Transmissions, Summer Darkness, and more.

Known for her heartfelt and expressive sets, DJ JanaDark explores a wide spectrum of electronic music, crafting sonic journeys that resonate with emotion and edge. In 2025, she proudly celebrates 20 years of her DJ career.

Jana is also the founder of WonderCat, an alternative art space in Leiden, Netherlands, dedicated to the whimsical and mysterious. In the musical realm, she is active with her own dark-industrial/ambient project Darkrad (Audiophob).

In 2025, DJ JanaDark proudly celebrates 20 years of her DJ career and at AMP Fest she will play a special 20 year anniversary DJ set!

DÉSORDRES SONORES

Alexandra Resler (DJ Désordres Sonores) has been a passionate enthusiast of alternative music for over 20 years. Over time, her deepening curiosity led her to broaden her repertoire, eventually culminating in her first public DJ set in 2003. In 2018, she launched her own radio show titled Désordres Sonores, which aired on CHOQ, CISM, and later KracRadio. The show is dedicated to cold sounds — coldwave, post-punk, EBM/industrial, new wave, shoegaze, and dream pop — often accompanied by darker thematic explorations. It serves as a platform for sharing musical discoveries and personal favorites, as well as for engaging in conversations with artists from Quebec’s music scene.

Today, her passion for music also energizes the dancefloors of Montreal’s alternative scene. She has performed at venues such as Foufounes Électriques, Cabaret Berlin, La Shop, Pirahna Bar, Turbo Haüs, and formerly at iconic spots like Katacombes (Burning Monday nights), Le Passeport, Le Saphir, and L’Odyssée.

His sets are all about echoing kicks and vast apocalyptic soundscapes, and his unique blend of acid, techno body music, doomcore and millennium style darkcore makes him equally comfortable at hardcore raves as industrial and EBM events. Apart from his releases on PRSPCT (including a mammoth collab with darkcore legend Catscan) Starving Insect has left his chilly imprint on labels like Planet Phuture, Tripalium, Rave & Revenge, Scuderia, Traumatic, Dark. Descent. and Mokum Records.

Davidé is a Montreal-based DJ known for his dark electronic sets blending Indie House, Melodic Techno, Post-Punk, New Wave, and Dark Wave. With performances across major cities like Toronto, London, Amsterdam, Barcelona, and New York, he’s a fixture in the international alternative and fetish scenes. Co-founder of Cirque de Boudoir, Berlin Techno, and Debasement, and co-owner of Cabaret Berlin, Davidé brings high energy and deep passion to every set, creating powerful, immersive dancefloor experiences.

Philip Faith AKA DJ FAITH has been an active DJ in the the Montreal underground scene for more than two decades, spinning Dark, mood oriented sets, ranging from post-punk to Goth, Darkwave, EBM, industrial, Electro, Psy trance and Dub.

His sets were danced in the following venues:
Foufounes Electriques, Vampire Lounge, Gallery, Katakombs, Fetish Cafe, Opium, Saphir, Olympia de Montreal, Auberge St-Gabriel, Cirque de Boudoir, Rue Morgue, Torture Garden, Cat House, Backstreet, Club Sin, Le Meddley, Barzan, Bar Ritz, Le Lezard, Passeport, La Shop, Cabaret Berlin.

Dj Faith has also been Musical Director and resident DJ for Montreal Fetish Weekend for over 15 years. He is now resident Dj at Cabaret Berlin with events like: NEVERMORE, Decades, Death Disco, New romantics and the infamous Succubus Ball.

DJ Harshangel is a well-known promoter and DJ behind the Reload Nights since their inception. He was also a resident DJ for the Rebirth Nights at Bar Passeport every Wednesday, as well as a regular guest at Différent Mode on Saturdays. In addition, he has performed at major events such as the Montreal Fetish Weekend and many others.

With nearly 15 years of experience in the Montreal music scene, DJ Harshangel is a respected veteran, recognized for his abrasive style and wide musical range. Drawing inspiration from everything cyber and dark, he crafts a unique and captivating atmosphere.

RaZoRGrrL has been active in the Toronto industrial and electronic scenes since the early 2000s, making her mark through DJing, promotion, and online radio. A founding member of the Toronto Industrial Kollective, she helped it grow into TiK Distro, TiK Recordings, and the Saturation Bombing Festival, until its conclusion.

She later co-produced the online radio show Distorted Circuitry with DJ Morgana and served as Podcast Director for ReGen Magazine. Over the years, she has played events across Toronto, Montreal (C.O.M.A., Kinetik), and Quebec City.

After a decade-long break, RaZoRGrrL returns to AMP INDUSTRIAL FESTIVAL, with a fresh edge and signature dark beats.

DJ Morgana carved out her space in the underground with Distorted Circuitry, launching in 1995 and transmitting dark, industrial frequencies from Vancouver to Toronto and across the web via Future Pop Radio, Krac Radio, and Rant Radio. She held down a residency at Toronto’s infamous Vatikan starting in 2003, with hard-hitting sets across gritty clubs in Canada, the U.S., Mexico City, Poland, and on Italian radio. Her final live assault hit Darkrave in Toronto in 2006…until now…

Former resident DJ at Ezra and Redemption during the late EBM-Industrial heyday (yes, pre-Y2K). Guest sets at Saphire, Foufs, and Sphinx. Contributor to Les Mouches Noires on CISM. Longtime devotee of old school industrial and EBM. Back from retirement for the AMP Industrial Festival!

DJ Kardec fell in love with electronic music as a ’90s raver and became a graver (gothic raver) after a fateful night at the legendary Le Sphynx. Driven by his passion for dark sounds, he launched the Debout les Nocturnes radio show on Krac Radio during the lockdown, then organized virtual festivals featuring DJs from Montreal to the world. On the live circuit, he’s brought his signature gothic-electro vibe to venues like Cabaret Berlin, La Shop, Piranha Bar and events such as Soirées Reload and Le Jour des Goths.

Francis Théberge has been active since 2001 as part of the TiND [thisisnotdesign] collective, a video art group well known on the Montreal scene for developing its own techniques of live audiovisual creation. By repurposing analog and digital audio equipment, TiND produces a singular visual language that echoes the texture of sound. Their live audiovisual performances unfold as a real-time laboratory of experimentation, where controlled improvisation, prepared interventions, and mastered mistakes converge.

be.Steve – Official Co-VJ of TiND, he is a graphic and motion designer who excels in hyperactive, glitch-heavy live performances. He boasts an impressive track record, including events such as Domesicles (Satosphère / SAT) and Igloofest.

Azura is a young VJ specializing in ultra-rhythmic, hyper-colored live improvisations. She entered the world of VJing at a very young age, performing at special Igloofest events alongside her dad (TiND). She represents the new generation and the innovative future of the Montreal VJ scene.
