Oiseau de Proie

Oiseau de Proie is a blend of French coldwave with elements of post-punk and neofolk. With Patricia’s haunting and mystical voice, all sung in French, and Sovannak’s melancholic chords, the Montreal-based duo stands out through their dark, medieval, minimalist, lyrical, and occult approach to music. Oiseau de Proie’s self-titled debut cassette was released in 2019, followed by Catharsis in 2022. Their brand-new album, titled Mélopées d’un ciel éteint, has been available on cassette and in digital format since April 1st, 2025.
