SU

Both writing topline in their bands, Ursa (Let Us Out) and Sarah’s (Hexapheen) partnership was born from a mutual admiration coupled with the desire for a more creatively fulfilling project in which they could explore different styles and ideas, unbound by the constraints of an already established multi-player band, all the while learning new skills & gaining experience.

Thus, in 2016, SU was born. They have since released three EPs (The Web, Little Sun and A Heart so Dry), a series of four conceptual singles (Existence, Metamorphosis, Discomfort and Transcendence) and one full length album (he(art) is a moment). Also, Amanita  ocreata was release in June 2024 and The Web 2.0//Arachnid has been released in February 2025.

They started with a sound that was closer to trip hop, and started including more and more influences from other genres such as industrial and movie scores as they became more comfortable with their musical identity. Their live performances are usually paired with videos and/or theatrical elements.
